We brought Cherry to our home 5th January 2014. As soon as she saw another weimaraner (Jasper) is waiting for her at our place, she was satisfied. He was not mum, but at least she had a play buddy. Jasper was a bit shy towards Cherry, but today she is his biggest love.
As soon as all necessary vaccination was done, we started with training. I was taking her with me everywhere I went - to the city, among people and also to restaurants. We went for walks to Stromovka park to meet other dogs. We went through basic obedience at dog school, followed by agility, which she enjoyed for 10 hours and what next? As a newbie in hunters world, I began to search for options for hunting training. The beginning was hard, but I met great people and we both began to enjoy training. Gradually quails (some of them as quail Rex are true family members), frozen pheasants, hares and foxes were appearing in our household.
In 2015 Cherry successfuly passed all hunting tests - TAN, Autumn and Forest tests and in October also allround tests.
Cherry loves to work and she does it with great passion. She is obedient and easy to handle in each situation. But above of all, Cherry is member of our family and we experience a lot of great moments together - in the mountains, forest, during training and also at home...
